Lakeside of the Smokies Balloon Fest Organizers Announce the Official 2019 Event Sponsors

Knoxville, TN July 1, 2019- Organizers of Lakeside of the Smokies Balloon Fest are proud to announce that Bush Beans, Appalachian Electric Cooperative, Air Med Care, Morristown Area Chamber, Holston Gas, Purple Iris, C&C Golf Carts, Matusuo, Morristown Signs, City of White Pine, Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, Nine Lakes Wine Country, Journal Communications, and Home Trust Bank are official sponsors for the 2019 festival scheduled on October 26 and 27, 2019 in White Pine, TN. Lakeside of the Smokies Balloon Fest will be the largest hot air balloon festival in Tennessee.

We can’t thank our great sponsors enough for their generosity and support. From the City of White Pine to our wonderful corporate partners who put community first, these businesses are fully invested in helping our cities and towns flourish.  “A festival of this size couldn’t happen without support of sponsors,” says Lauren Hurdle, Director of Tourism for Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce.

Bush Beans is one of the three featured festival sponsors. A cherished Jefferson County institution, Bush Beans has been contributing to the county and region, since 1908. The Bush’s General Store, which is now a museum, general store, and a café, tells the story that spans two world wars, the Great Depression, and the building of Douglas Dam. How fitting is it that Bush Beans will be a partner for a festival that is honoring the region’s agricultural history, military service, and will showcase the beauty of Douglas Lake.

There are still sponsorship opportunities open for interested businesses and organizations. To learn more contact Donna Bates, Lakeside of the Smokies marketing manager, at (706) 463-2044.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the mission of the Middle East Tennessee Tourism Council, a non-profit organization serving the sixteen counties of the East Tennessee Development District.
